By clicking the Search engines button at the bottom-right of the search engine tab, I can access the search engine plugin management system. I am running qBittorrent as a limited user for couple of years without major problems. From this dialog I can install new search engine plugins.
I was offering this here before, but there was no interest.
Is anyone else getting a problem after updating to 4.2.5 that the 'Installed Search plugin:' is empty and it is not possible to add via the install new plugin button I was initially on 4.2. The app includes other basic torrenting features such as automatic UPnP/NAT-PMP port forwarding, sequential downloads, scheduled speed limiter, bandwidth scheduler, a torrent creating tool, IP. But is also guaranteed, that not affected by this installation the portability?ĮDIT: I find the following folder, which contains some *.py files: D:\portable_Programme\PortableApps\qBittorrentPortable\Data\settings\LocalAppData_qBittorrent\nova\engines. #QBITTORRENT PLUGINS INSTALL#Īnd does qBittorrent Portable's searching ability require a local installation of Python? Probably yes, because on my machine I can't install a search engine and I haven't a local installation of Python.
